Spanish Food Building Sentences

Some things to note...

  • These sentences are fiction, or NOT real. Anacondas don’t really eat avena (oatmeal).  Make sure that children understand it is like a game where we find a food for each animal that starts with their letter.

  • In Spanish the articles (el/la, los/las) change based on whether the food is masculine/feminine, and singular/plural. These are designed to give children lots of practice choosing the correct article.
