We celebrated Passover last night in a rather unconventional way.  It was a very busy Friday with lots of Jungle School action, and it took all I had to just make dessert (let alone find and roast a lamb for the Seder Meal.)  So instead of eating lamb, we made lamb handprint art.

At sunset, we invited our neighbors over to watch It’s Passover, Grover, then read the story up until the plagues.  Of course, we had to take a break to eat some Plague Pie (a.k.a. Grasshopper Pie).  The crust was a pack of crushed Maria cookies mixed with a little coconut oil, the filling was pistachio pudding (next time I’ll use 2 large boxes instead of small, hehe), followed by Dream Whip and crushed Oreos on top.  This was all that was left by the time I got out the camera, so I guess those grasshoppers (flies, gnats, lice and frogs) weren’t too bad.

Speaking of grasshoppers, check out what was on the door handle the other day.

I screamed, then ran to get the camera.

Levi proudly scooped it with a shoe.

Then Sissy inspected before we set her free.
